Application for Membership

JOIN THE BEST-LUTHER FIRE DEPARTMENT!

We have three volunteer membership categories: Active Firefighter Members (16 years+), Associate Member (16 years+), and Junior Firefighter Members (14-15 with parental permission). Contact us if you have any questions pertaining to our Membership categories or are looking to join! You can also fill out the application below and email it to us or bring it in any Tuesday night from 7PM-9PM!

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP

  • Interior/Exterior Firefighter

  • EMT-B/CRF (EMR)

  • Scene Support

  • Fire Police

  • Driver/Pump Operator

  • Must be 16 years or older

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

  • Attend and assist with events, dinners, parades, etc. 

  • Attend meetings 

  • Must be 16 years or older

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP

  • Must be 14-15 years old with Parental Permission

  • Can attend and assist with parades, dinners, events, etc. (NO FIRE CALLS)

  • Limited insight with drills (RESTRICTED)

We are always looking for new members! No experience needed!

Do something noble, courageous, and make a difference in your community. (Must be 16 years or older to be an Active Firefighter) We provide gear, training, and there are many different scholarship opportunities!

Stop in for an application on Tuesday nights from 7pm - 9pm or fill out the application and bring it in!

Looking to help your community without being a firefighter? Check the Associate box on the application! There are plenty of other ways to assist your community in our department!

 

NEW JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY!! 14-15 years old with Parental Permission. CANNOT ATTEND CALLS! They can participate in drills and learn what it takes to be a firefighter. They can also attend meetings and other events we host! Email us for more information.
